We will meet with the group in Tashkent. We will let You know the name of the hotel soon. Some people from the group will arrive late in the evening. We will be having a light welcome dinner together and meet everyone in the group.
Day 2 – Tashkent – Sayyod Yurt Camp
After breakfast in Tashkent we depart with a minibus for Sayyod Yurt Camp in the Nuratau Mountains. Nurata translates from Uzbek as “Father’s light,” with “nur” meaning light or beam, and “ata” meaning father. This journey takes about 4,5 hours. We will arrive in Sayyod by lunch and settle in the yurt camp. In the afternoon you may just relax in the camp and explore the area on horseback or a bike. Our camp offers a cooking class with a market visit, so we will take part in a hands-on traditional meal cooking class. Accommodation at the same Sayyod Yurt Camp.
Day 3 – Sayyod Yurt Camp-Hiking Day
In the morning after breakfast, we start an easy hike in the mountains. The length of the hike is 6 km, the duration is 2,5-3 hours. We will return to the camp by lunchtime. In the afternoon, we take another 2- hour easy hike in the other direction from the camp, before returning to the camp we will visit the village of Sayyod to get to know the local people and their livelihoods. Dinner and accommodation at the same Sayyod Yurt Camp
Day 4 – From Sayyod Yurt Camp To Bukhara
After breakfast, we will leave our camp and the Nurata Mountains and head to Bukhara with the minibus. On our way we visit Lake Aydarkul (a large a large artificial lake, that covers 4,000 square kilometers; we can go swimming there) and after that, we visit Nurata city. We will arrive to Bukhara in the late afternoon. Dinner together in the evening.
Day 5 – Bukhara Day
Today we will explore the amazing Silk Road city- Bukhara. Our guide will show us all the main attractions from the Great Minaret of the Kalon, Chor-Minor to Mir-i-Arab Madrasa and Moschea Bolo[1]Khauz. Excursion will last about 3-4 hours. For the lunch and dinner will choose the best local restaurants.
Day 6 – Bukhara To Samarkand
After breakfast, we will head to Samarkand. The distance will be about 270 km. When we go to the hotel in Samarkand, You can take some time off and relax by the pool. In the late afternoon we will go the local bazaar and see the new district, called the Eternal City. We will have a dinner at the same district.
Day 7 – Day In Samarkand
Today we will explore the city with the guide. We´ll have 3-4h excursion to see the Islam Karimov Mausoleum, Registan, Shah-i[1]Zinda, Ulugbek Madrasah and many more historic sights. In the evening joint dinner with the group.
Day 8 – Samarkand To Tashkent
After breakfast, we start a minibus trip back to Tashkent. The distance from Samarkand to Tashkent is 300 km. On arrival, we check in to the hotel and go to explore the new Tashkent City. It is a new modern development in progress, we can see a new “twin” capital of Uzbekistan. Evening for dinner and free time in the city.
Day 9 – Day In Tashkent
After breakfast, we will have a 3-4h city tour in Tashkent to see the main attractions such as Tashkent metro, Choru bazaar, Minor Mosque, Amir Timur museum. This is our last day together in Uzbekistan. In the evening we will have a festive farewell dinner and party together
